Our New England Meetinghouse

The construction of the meetinghouse for my church,Lakeville Christian Fellowship (Lakeville, Mass.), is well underway and will be closed in for winter. Our 10.2 acre lot is private and the building itself is surrounded by towering pines, a beautiful natural sanctuary in and of itself. Our info, as well as full manuscript sermons, is available on the website. We are Reformed Baptist, adhering to the London Baptist Confession of 1689, and we worship together as families, i.e. not separating children and adults in the common worship of our God.
It is an exciting work in New England! Actually when a Time magazine journalist shouted to Senator Hillary Clinton in a crowd about the building project, she was so excited about the work, exclaiming, "Hallelujah!! Bill and I have been looking for a Calvinist, neo-Puritan church in New England, and with Italians there to boot!"

Our own Sen. Kennedy didn't express quite the same enthusiasm, but quietly asked, "Does this church of yooahs use real wine fooah communion or that Welch's gahbage? 'Cuz Teddy like wine. Teddy like wine very much. And licka."
